It’s been a while that posted anything about my wash day. Because of the protective styling (wearing a wig) I have been skipping my wash days. That was NOT the plan, but how my schedule was, I couldn’t find the right time. So on Wednesday (October 21) I finally washed my hair. My scalp was screaming for it.
On Saturday (October 17) I did a search and destroy method, but before I knew I was trimming my hair. I am at the point that I’m tired of the thin ends. Somebody asked me ‘why don’t you cut your hair? To be honest I’m asking myself the same question’. For some strange reason I don’t want to go back to SL (Shoulder Length Hair). So I’m taking baby steps with trimming my hair.
I shampooed my hair with Mizani Supreme Oil Shampoo. The shampoo is a new member to my Mizani collection. While washing my hair I have noticed that the hair loss (shedding / breakage) has reduced. I hope I can keep it to a minimal. After washing my hair twice, I used a cotton t-shirt to wrap my hair.
Also a new edition, for the deep conditioning treatment I used Mizani Supreme Oil Conditioner. In small amount I applied the product to each hair section. To complete the treatment I sat under my Huetiful Hair Steamer – I love this steamer –
texlaxed hair sad ends 🙁 new growth
I wasn’t sure which products to use to prep my hair, but I decided to use ApHogee Keratin and Green Tea Restructurizer – also a new product – and Cantu Argan Oil Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream. The ApHogee product is protein based and the Cantu product is moisture based. To complete thee prep I used Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Treatment to seal my hair.
For the drying process I used my hooded dryer. I sat under the dryer for almost 2 hours L – my least favourite part –
My hair was soft and shiny. It look liked I freshly relaxed my hair. Before bedtime I lightly moisturized my hair with ORS Hair Lotion and sealed with Almond Oil.
