Wash routine for relaxed hair
It was highly time for a protein treatment. I’m doing a bad job with my monthly regimen. I noticed that my hair was breaking, and it’s really because my hair is screaming for protein.
Step 1 > this time around I started with the protein treatment. I used my water mix (Rose water x water) to damp my hair – I never apply a protein conditioner on dry hair –. In sections of 4 I applied Mizani Kerafuse Intense Strengthening Treatment to my hair. When the product was applied I sat under the dryer for 10 minutes. I let my hair cool off, before I rinse the product out – wait for 5 minutes – .
Step 2 > for the washing part I used Mizani Puriphying Shampoo. In sections of two I shampooed my hair. After the wash my hair felt a bit stiff, because of the protein and clarifying, my hair needed moisture
Step 3 > to bring the moisture back I used Mizani Moisturfusion Silk Cream Conditioner. In sections of 4 I applied the product to my hair. I was supposed to condition for 30 minutes, but I was watching Suits 🙂 . After 1 ½ hours it was time to rinse the product out. I really like this conditioner. It brings my hair back to shape – soft and moisturize -.
Step 4 > something new to my regimen, spraying my hair with my water mix before applying any product. I let the water rest on my hair and let it dry a bit. After 5 minutes I spritz Mizani D’tangle Spray only on my ends. To balance everything out, I finished with Cantu Shea butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream. You may think that is a lot of product, but I used a small about of the Cantu Shea Butter. For sealing I used Macadamia Natural Healing Oil Treatment
Step 5 > I let my hair air dry overnight. Off course the next morning my hair wasn’t 100% dry, but I planned to braid my hair. I moisturized my hair with ORS Hair Lotion and sealed with Almond oil.
To retain my length and protect my hair from the cold whether I will be braiding – cornrows – my hair. This is an easy hair style for me.
