Wash Routine for relaxed (texlaxed) hair

STEP 1 | PRE-POO
Starting my wash routine with a pre-poo. For the last couple of weeks I have used Garnier Whole Blends (Loving Blends) Repairing Conditioner. In sections of four, I applied the product to my hair and after 25 minutes of pre-pooing, I rinsed the product out. I try to pre-poo my every time before washing. For now, I like this product for pre-pooing.

STEP 2 | SHAMPOO
It has been a while, but I missed using Mizani Moisturefusion Milk Bath. For this routine, I planned to use mostly moisturizing products. I only washed my hair once instead of washing it twice. During washing, I felt that my hair was a bit stiff/dry. I’m not sure what resulted my hair to be dry, but I hope that I can fix with the next step.

STEP 3 | DEEP CONDITION
My hair was screaming for a moisturizing treatment. To deep condition my hair, I used Miani Moisturefusion Silk Cream Conditioner mixed with Olive & Peppermint Oil. In small sections I applied the conditioner to my hair, especially concentrating on my problem areas. I deep condition for more than an hour without heat.

STEP 4 | LEAVE-IN
To start I sprayed ApHogee Keratin & Green Tea Restructurizer all over my hair, especially concentrating on my ends and edges.  In sections of two I clipped my hair up and let it air-dry. When my hair was about 70% dry, I used African Pride Shea Butter Miracle Silky Hair Moisturizer. I have been using this moisturizer for a month now and so far I’m liking it.

Because of my lack off moisturizing my hair during the week, my hair has been weak. My focus for now is to get my hair back on an even moisture – protein balance.
