WASH ROUTINE FOR TEXLAX HAIR

For some strange reason I don’t want to texlax my hair or let me say, I can’t find the time. Last week I went to the beauty supply store and bought a pack, so that I could texlax my hair. Well, a week has gone by and I still haven’t texlax my hair. To give my hair some rest from all the tension, I decided not to style my hair in a high bun for the whole week. I was doing well until Friday. I think after finally texlaxing my hair, I want to braid my hair so I can give my hair a break from bunning all the time!

WASH DAY ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 11!

21 weeks post relaxer

STEP 1 | PRE-POO
To boost my wash I started with my Aloe Vera mix. First I sprayed the mixture on my scalp and message it. Then I sprayed it all over my hair. To speed the process, I sat under a hooded dryer for 15 minutes.

STEP 2 | SHAMPOO
For the past washdays I have been using Aunt Jackie’s Oh So Clean Moisturizing & Softening Shampoo. In sections of four I shampooed my hair. I still think this shampoo is okey. It cleans my hair, but after rinsing it leaves my hair stiff. With a cotton t-shirt I dried my hair.

STEP 3 | CONDITION
To put a smile on my face I had to use ORS Replenishing Conditioner. I mixed the conditioner with some oils (Castor Oil x Garlic Oil x Peppermint Oil x Rosemary Oil). In small sections I applied the product to my hair and really concentrated on my new growth and ends. I wanted to sit under the hooded dryer, but someone came to visit so I deep conditioned for almost 2 hours without heat.

STEP 4 | LEAVE-IN
In sections of four I sprayed my Aloe Vera mix on my hair. Because of the time (20:30 PM), I didn’t want to air-dry my hair. In sections of two I clipped my hair up and sat under a hooded dryer. After drying I will moisturize my hair.

Let’s pray that next week Saturday I will texlax my hair!
