WASH ROUTINE FOR RELAXED HAIR

Wash day March 17!

Although I have relaxed my hair 4 weeks ago, I’m really focused with retaining my length. That is why I have been rocking protective hairstyles, mostly cornrow styles. I have been slacking with moisturizing my hair, but it’s getting better.

For the past few weeks I have been using ORS products keep my hair healthy. I’m going to continue to use ORS products.

STEP 1 | SHAMPOO
To bring my hair back to life, I used ORS Sulfate-free Hydrating Shampoo. Listen this shampoo is truly a keeper. I have noticed that my hair loss during the washing is minimal, just the way I like it.

STEP 2 | CONDITION
I continued with ORS Replenishing Conditioner mixed with some oils (Castor Oil X Garlic Oil x Tea Tree Oil x Peppermint Oil x Rosemary Oil). In sections of four I applied the conditioner to my hair. Really concentrating on my roots and ends.

I’m really loving the combination of the shampoo & conditioner. My hair feels looks & feels healthy. By using this two products I really want to work on my breakage and so far it is working.

To boost up the condition process I sat under a hooded dryer for 30 minutes.

STEP 3 | LEAVE-IN
A new good from ORS! For the past 3 weeks I have been using ORS Monoi Oil Anti-Breakage Leave-In Conditioning Crème. In sections of four I applied a small amount to my hair and sealed it with ORS Monoi Oil Fusion.

I first wanted to wrap my hair and sit under the dryer, but I had to clean my home so I air-dried for a bit and when my hair was 60% dry I skipped over to blow drying. When I was done with blow drying my hair, I did a quick search & destroy method. I’m planning to stop with trimming my hair for the coming 6 months and ONLY do the search & destroy method to get rid of spit ends.

Let the thick & healthy journey continue!
