WASH DAY FOR TEXLAXED HAIR

My hair is crying! I have been M.I.A. for a while, but I’m still alive DiaryFam! But my hair is a hot mess. I’m so disappointed with myself. I haven’t been moisturizing my hair like I need to. Yes deep conditioning my hair is great, but during the week I need to keep up with moisturizing my hair. The laziness is getting out of hand to the point that my hair is really breaking, LIKE BAD!

STEP 1 | SHAMPOO
My scalp was itching and in need of clarifying. I skipped my pre-poo routine and went straight to washing my hair with ORS Neutralizing Shampoo. My hair needed a good cleanse from all the build-up.

STEP 2 | CONDITION
Your girl has been shopping and I have bought some new goodies. For this step I used Aunt Jackie’s Coco REPAIR deep conditioner. This conditioner says it repairs damage & breakage hair. So I was like ‘I need this in my life!’ This is the first time using this product, so let’s see where it will take me. Because it is my first time, I don’t add any oils to the product. In sections I applied the product to my hair and deep conditioned for an hour without heat.

After deep conditioning I can say that my hair felt stronger. This product is definitely protein based.

STEP 3 | LEAVE-IN
I didn’t have plans for the day, so I decided to air-dry. To moisture my hair I sprayed Aunt Jackie’s Half & Half Hydrating Silkening Hair Milk all over my hair and as always styled my hair up and let it dry.

We need to stop with this nonsense. I really need to take better care of my hair. Am I the only that is slacking? Talk to me ladies, how is your journey going?

Let the thick & healthy journey continue!
