Wash day | When Pure Honey is feeling the extra heat!

Wash routine with Pure Honey

With this wash I had my eyes set on a hair mask treatment. You know when your hair needs that extra push. My hair was in need for some Pure Honey moisture.

Let’s start with the routine!

Step 1 Pre-Poo

Because I knew that I planned to do a mask treatment, I made sure to use products that contain moisture. To prep my hair for the treatment, I applied Garnier Avocado Oil & Shea Butter conditioner to my hair. The slip that this conditioner has is everything.

“Smooth operator”

To boost up the conditioner I sat under a dryer for 15 minutes. The results was amazing. My hair felt like butter. This conditioner is perfect for my pre-poo.

Step 2 Shampoo

To continue with keeping my hair moisturized, I used Pure Honey Shampoo to wash my hair. In sections of two I shampooed my hair. After shampooing I wrapped my hair with a t-shirt for 15 minutes.

Step 3 Deep condition

Are you ready?! In sections of four I applied the Pure Honey Moisture Replenish & Strength hair mask. This mask feels like a creme. The mask is so smooth and applies easily. Again, I had to boost this treatment up. So I sat under a hooded dryer for 20 minutes or so. Adding heat to your treatments is so beneficial for your hair.

Wrapping up!

After the treatment my hair was feeling good. Nice, fluffy and moisturized! Because of the end results I didn’t even apply a leave-in. I just let my hair air-dry to the next day. My goal is to do a hair mask treatment once a month to strengthen my hair. I find that a hair mask gives the right moisture / protein balance and the Pure Honey mask gives me that.
