I’m still on my stretch. The plan was to relax my hair last Sunday. Well I’m still debating if I need to relax my hair. This is so funny, because if have never been in this situation that I didn’t know when I should relax.

Pre poo treatment
It’s been a while but I missed pre pooing my hair before a wash. I applied Coconut oil on my hair and Jamaican Black Castor oil on my scalp. After an hour pre pooing without heat, it was time to wash my hair.
Last week I did a protein treatment with ORS Hair Mayonnaise and I also did s search & destroy method. I started real strong with my treatment and at the ending I was slacking off. After a protein treatment it’s important to deep condition your hair with a moisture based product. I don’t know why but I decided to do a quick treatment with TRESemmé Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner. This is a light conditioner – perfect to co-wash with, but not for a deep condition –. But oke my hair felt good after I was done with the routine. After a view days I noticed that my hair really needed some moisture and what did I do …. Nothing – ugh -. Oke nothing is a strong word, but I didn’t moisturize my hair daily as I should do.
So with this was routine I decided that I will only use moisture based product.
I started with a pre poo treatment using Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil Conditioner. In small sections I applied the product to my hair. The product was left on my hair for 30 minutes without heat.
This past week’s my focused has mainly been on keeping my hair moisturized. But keeping your proteinbalance is also important. The last time I deed a protein treatment was in February – 7 weeks ago – My goal is to do a protein treatment every 4 weeks, because my hair really needs it.
In sections of four I washed my hair twice with Salerm Protein Shampoo. This shampoo is really protein based. After washing my hair felt rough that is why I used TRESemmé Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner to bring back the moisture and softness. I love love this product as a co-wash. It has amazing slip and makes my hair soft. I applied the product to my hair and let it sit for 5 minutes – a quick conditioning treatment-.
It’s been a long time that I wrote a post about my washday, but don’t worry I’m back. This couple of weeks has been a bit of a struggle with my hair. The struggle are the hair loss and split ends. I have been lazy with moisturizing my hair at night and I notice that my hair reacts immediately to that – dry hair means breakage –
For the routine I wanted to start with a pre-poo treatment, but I changed my mind – laziness -. In two section I washed my hair using Mizani Moisturfusion Milk Bath Shampoo. I think it’s my third time using this shampoo and I like the fact that is has a milky texture and I doesn’t dry my hair out. My hair feels good after the wash. It’s bouncy and I can easily glide my finger through my hair.
Yeah I really wasn’t feeling for a wash day, but it had to be done. So I decided to keep my wash day short and simple.
I really had a hard time to choose a product for my wash. And then I remembered that I bought a new shampoo product in October, Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo. This is my third Organix shampoo that I’m trying out and I don’t think that the shampoos are a good fit for me. While washing my hair I wasn’t able to run my finger through my hair. Sometimes I like to finger detangle my hair, but no ma’am my hair was stiff.
The last couple week I have been concentrating with getting rid of my split ends. In my recent post I mentioned that I need to take a break with using a flat iron on my hair. I’m really suffering from long split ends. My goals for this year is to reach BSL (Bra Strap Length), but first my main focus is retaining my length.
At this moment I’m 17 weeks post. I planned to texlaxed my hair at 20 weeks post.
PRE POO TREATMENT
More and more and loving doing a pre poo treatment with oils. In sections of four I applied an oil mix (Grape seed x Sesame seed x Coconut oil) to the length of my hair, concentration on my ends. For my scalp I used a different oil mix (Jamaican Black Castor x Coconut oil). I let the oils sit on my hair for about an hour.
