A proud moment! I hold on to stretching my hair for 20 weeks, but now is time to texlax my hair. My new growth is nice and thick. Although I was ready to texlax my hair, there was one problem. I washed my hair a few days ago, so when I decided to process my hair I still had clean scalp.
Eems texlax method!
I made a short video to demonstrate how I transform my relaxer. If you have read my previous post you know I texlaxed my hair on 14 July.
Relaxer after 20 weeks!
Saturday 14 July
After stretching my relaxer for 20 weeks it’s time to telax my new growth. This stretch has really been a crazy rid. As my hair is growing nice and thick my laziness has put me in a position that I wasn’t able to retain my length. My hair was screaming
‘Girl it’s time to telax’.
Doing a happy dance! I finally was able to relax my hair under 19 weeks. There was a moment I was really getting tired of my new growth, because of the thickness. I was dealing with different textures and when I was styling my hair, I really wasn’t feeling my looks. It was time for the creamy crack!
I finally got the time to relax my hair at 21 weeks post. I planned to relax my hair last week, but due bad timing it wasn’t possible. I also wanted to do a protein treatment one week before, but I changed my mind and will do the treatment next week. So before the relaxer it didn’t prep my hair.
This time I wasn’t really happy with my new growth. The inches of growth was okay. But if look at the positive side, my new growth was soft and manageable. I could have stretch my hair for a longer period, but I want to stop at 20 weeks post.
