Wash-day is in full effect, because my scalp is in need for some TLC. I’m ready to wash my scalp and moisturize my hair with Creme of Nature Argan, but mainly my scalp. This week I didn’t apply on oil to my scalp every day. I wanted to give my scalp some rest and let my natural sebum do its work. Let’s start this wash routine by using Creme of Nature Argan Oil products.
Step 1 Pre-poo
It’s been a while that I have done a pre-poo, but that is going to change. For the coming 3 month, this is how I’m going to start of my wash routine. With my handmade oil blend that I made especially for pre-pooing it going to help with lifting up dirt but also stimulate my scalp. I sections of four I applied to oil to my hair and massage my scalp with it.
Without heat I let the oil sit for 30 minutes. My hair was shiny and soft.

Step 2 Shampoo
To clean my scalp I used Creme of Nature Argan Oil Moisture & Shine Shampoo. I shampooed once with this product, because I also used a co-wash. What I like about this shampoo is that you really don’t need much.
To make sure I keep the moisture in my hair I followed up with Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Cleansing Co Wash. I didn’t want to strip my hair too much using a shampoo, so that is why I co-washed hair as well.
“Let’s keep the moisture”
My hair felt good! It felt light & soft. Now the question can be, which step caused for the softness and my answer is the combination of pre-pooing, shampooing & co-washing. I think that my hair still would haven soft if I didn’t co-wash, but it gave my hair an extra boost.
Step 3 Deep Condition
To boost up the moisture in my hair I used Creme Of Nature Argan Oil Intensive Conditioning Treatment. I added the same oil blend I used for pre-pooing to the conditioner and sat under the hooded dryer for 30 minutes.
“Hair feels like butter”
I always pay attention how my hair feels when rinsing out the conditioner. And let me tell you that my hair felt good. No breakage or shedding, my hair received the boost that it needed.
Step 4 Leave-in
After rinsing out the conditioner I wrapped my hair with a towel and let it sit for 1,5 hours. Yes I know, hear me out. I wasn’t planned but I got in an important conversation that took longer than I expected.
My hair was nicely damped so I sprayed some CHI Keratin mist and followed up with Cream of Nature Argan Oil Argan Buttermilk Leave-in and sealed with an oil blend.
I wasn’t in the mood to air-dry or blow-dry my hair. That’s is why I roller set my hair in pony tails and sat under the hooded dryer.
Let the thick & healthy hair journey continue!
