Wash routine | Relaxed hair
Saturday 2 December
Let the drama continue! The laziness is kicking in. For the last two days the before the wash routine I have been sleeping without a scarf. For me it is a must to protect my hair with a satin scarf. So please, can anybody ask me ‘why I’m doing the opposite?’ When in was detangling my hair I was crying from the inside, because of my hair loss.

wash routine | relaxed hair
Saturday 25 November
This week I have been focusing on protecting my hair against the cold weather. Sometimes it sucks living in the Netherlands, it was a rainy week. To keep it simple, I styled my hair in two cornrows.
STEP 1 | PRE-POO
To give my wash routine a boost I decided to do an oil treatment. I warmed up my Coconut oil and in sections of four I applied the oil to my hair and scalp. Started at the end and worked my way on up. I went a little overboard with the oil but it got the job done! I let the oil sit on my hair for 30 minutes without using heat. -
Wash day | July 15!
11 weeks post relaxer
I don’t know why I always do this, but after a certain period of stretching my relaxer, I get ‘extreme’ lazy. It’s really bad! In the month June I was active with keeping my hair healthy with protective styles. But the last two weeks, it’s been really bad. I haven’t been moisturizing on a daily base or washing my hair weekly. So because of that I have been dealing with breakage like no other.
I got 8 weeks to go before I’m going to relax my hair. So I’m going to do a protective style challenge. For the coming 8 weeks I will be rocking my hair in cornrows or switch to my wigs.

Wash day | July 23!
Wash routine
relaxed hair aka texlaxed hair
Since my relaxer I noticed more hair falling out than normal – shedding & breakage – . Yeah shedding is normal, but this last week it was too much for my liking and the breakage was crazy. I know I need to step up with the protein treatment.
Pre-poo treatment
Before washing my hair I started with an oil treatment. I made a mix of Coconut oil with 1 tps. Olive oil. The oil was applied all over my hair and scalp. I love using an oil for my pre-poos. I did this treatment more than 2 hours.

Wash day | July 10!
Last week I had to switch to another day for washing my hair. On Saturday I attended a wedding and I knew there was no time to do a wash routine in the morning. So I washed my hair on Friday. I planned to flat iron my hair, but I wasn’t sure which product to use.

Pre poo treatment
Mixing Redken Real Control & Time Reset Conditioner and Coconut Oil to pre poo with. It’s been a long time that I used this product and I also finished the bottle. I don’t know if I will buy the product again. The mixture was applied all over my hair and mainly on the ends. I let the product sit for 30 minutes without heat.Washing treatment
I shampooed my hair with Mizani Moisturfusion Milk Bath Shampoo.
