Shopping goods – April, May & June –

In the last three months I have been adding some new products to my hair collections.

I was holding on to my promise not to buy some new products, but a discount threw me off. I’m proud of myself because I only but two products

This two product was also on my wish list 2014.

Moisture Moisture Moisture!!!! All the products that I bought are repurchasing. For about two month I have been looking for the Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter moisturizer. I was going crazy because every hair store was out. There was one shop owner (Store Afro New Creations) who was kind enough to order for me – happy dance -. I was so thankful because this moisturizer really saved my hair.

The other two products are my ‘light’ moisturizers.

Wash day routine

Washday July 5

It’s been a long time that I wrote a blog post about my washday. So here is a quick update. To make a long story short I’m still slacking!! Moisturize and seal every night is still a fail and there are some nights that I didn’t cover my hair with a scarf. If I keep doing this, then I will never retain my length. I’m hoping that I will do better this month. Ohw I almost forgot. There have been some improvements. I deep conditioning with heat every week and did a dust & destroy method every month.

Step 1 I started with the Mizani Botanifying Conditioning Shampoo. In sections of 3 I washed my hair twice. I like how my hair feels after shampooing. This product gives my hair a nice balance. After the wash I did a quick light conditioner treatment with Organix Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Conditoner. When applying the conditioner I also finger detangle my hair. I left the conditioner in for about 10 minutes and then rinse it out.

Last year I made a list for myself about products that I wanted to try out. Unfortunately I’m a product junkie. I am always buying stuff and the bad thing is some I don’t even use. So the list was really helpful for me.

–          Creme of Nature Argan Oil Strength & Shine leave-in
–          Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter
–          Jamaican Black Caster Oil

I’m in love with some of the products, and when I say in love … ow boy I’m hooked, lool. My number one love is the Elasta QP Olive Oil Mango Butter. This creme really .. really helped me. I will do a review about it. And the second place goes to …….. Creme of Nature Moisture Extreme Conditioner. This conditoner … what!! Lool. I’m so glad that I found this conditioner.

From all the products that I purchased I’m not sure if I will buy ~~Mane N Tail~~ and ~~Creme of Nature Argan Oil Strength & Shine~~ leave-in again.
