Wash day | August 29!
During the week my schedule was a bit off. For example, moisturizing my hair in the morning and not at night. Then there was some days I didn’t use a scarf at night. On the positive side I did more protective styles, like cornrow braid or cornrow twist my hair.
Pre poo treatment
It’s been a while, but it was definitely time for a pre-poo. I used Extra Virgin Coconut Oil all over my hair and Jamaican Black Castor Oil on my scalp. I did this treatment for an hour without heat. While I was applying the oil to my hair I noticed I had a lot of hair loss. The hair loss comes from not moisturizing my hair properly during the week. -
Relaxer | July 18!
It’s time for the creamy crack!!! I finally texlaxed my hair at 23 weeks post. I promised myself that I wasn’t going to stretch for more than 20 weeks, but hey, another 3 weeks doesn’t hurt anybody.
During the stretch I have seen positive progress with my hair. Mine new growth was nice and thick, but still manageable. The only downside were my nape and edges. I still haven’t find a regimen to grow them nicely – project saving my edges and nape is coming soon –

Wash day | May 17 Moisture recovery!
Last week I did a protein treatment with ORS Hair Mayonnaise and I also did s search & destroy method. I started real strong with my treatment and at the ending I was slacking off. After a protein treatment it’s important to deep condition your hair with a moisture based product. I don’t know why but I decided to do a quick treatment with TRESemmé Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner. This is a light conditioner – perfect to co-wash with, but not for a deep condition –. But oke my hair felt good after I was done with the routine. After a view days I noticed that my hair really needed some moisture and what did I do …. Nothing – ugh -. Oke nothing is a strong word, but I didn’t moisturize my hair daily as I should do.
So with this was routine I decided that I will only use moisture based product.
Step 1
I started with a pre poo treatment using Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil Conditioner. In small sections I applied the product to my hair. The product was left on my hair for 30 minutes without heat. -
Wash day | April 5! Protein overload
This past week’s my focused has mainly been on keeping my hair moisturized. But keeping your protein balance is also important. The last time I deed a protein treatment was in February – 7 weeks ago – My goal is to do a protein treatment every 4 weeks, because my hair really needs it.
Wash treatment
In sections of four I washed my hair twice with Salerm Protein Shampoo. This shampoo is really protein based. After washing my hair felt rough that is why I used TRESemmé Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner to bring back the moisture and softness. I love love this product as a co-wash. It has amazing slip and makes my hair soft. I applied the product to my hair and let it sit for 5 minutes – a quick conditioning treatment-.

Wash day 5th May ‘14
Late night washing … yes is that time again. Last night, after work, I decided to wash my hair. Sunday I wasn’t feeling well and wasn’t fit to wash my hair. I live in the Netherlands, and Monday it’s time for Real Housewives of Atlanta. So before I could watch the last part of the show I started with my routine.
PRE-POO
I used my oil mix coconut x olive oil to apply on my hair. I warmed the oil with warm water. When I did the first part, I then applied my black castor x peppermint oil mix on my scalp. After applying the oil it was time for some ratchetness *big smile*.WASH
After watching two reality shows it was time to rinse out the oils. It’s been a long time that I did a co-wash, so you know what time it is … co-wash !!!. TREsemmé Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner is my fav product for a co-wash. In two sections I co-washed my hair. I really concentrated on my scalp and my problem areas.DEEP CONDITION
Before applying the conditioner I used a t-shirt to dry my hair. In 4 sections I applied ORS HaiRepair Nourishing Conditioner. I almost forgot that I had this product. I used two packs because one simple isn’t enough. The oils that I mixed the product with; grape seed and peppermint oil. I deep condition with heat for 45 minutes and let my hair cool off for 15 minutes. -
Quick wash routine 28 November ‘13
Last week Sunday I didn’t wash my hair, don’t ask me why (laziness ughh L). This week my hair was screaming for a wash but I couldn’t find the time to do it. Last night (Friday) LeHomie had
a FABULOUS DINER EVENT. I was so lost what to do with my hair, but the important thing what needed to be done is wash my hair.
I normally don’t do a full wash routine during the week, so I was really lost how to go about it. It was late, I was tired and had to go to work the next day. So I decided to do a quick wash around 23:00 PM (giving myself the side eye).
