Moisturize routine with African Pride

moisturize routine with African Pride

Normally after washing my hair I moisturize my hair with a leave-in, but sometimes I do have my lazy moments. That’s what happened in the video below. After washing I didn’t do anything with my hair as a result that my hair was screaming for some moisture.

Moisturizing my hair is really basic. It doesn’t matter which product I use my method will always be the same.

My basic steps!

  1. Detangle my hair
  2. Divide my hair in four sections. Believe me working in sections really helps
  3. Apply cream to my hair in small parts. Depending how dry my hair is the smaller my section will be
  4. Seal my hair with an oil.

In this video I’m using African Pride Miracle Shea Butter Hair Moisturizer & Growth Oil.

Wash Routine For Texlaxed Hair

Wash day texlaxed hair | Saturday 13 January

Normally I would do a protein and clarifying treatment every 4 weeks, but my hair was in need of a protein treatment. It was time to get rid of the build-up of hair products. For the last two weeks I really focused on moisturizing my hair on a daily base. But I noticed that moisturizing too much makes my hair dull. Don’t get me wrong, I will keep on moisturizing, but I need to co-wash during the week to keep the balance.

I pre-pooed for 30 minutes, without heat. As a result my hair was moist and tangled free.
