Wash Routine For Relaxed Hair | October 28!
I’m really in need of a protein treatment, but I never get the time. Last week I had a wedding to attend to and this week I was Cinderella – I had to clean my house – . The good thing is that I’m keeping up with my co-wash during the week. It really helps with minimizing the breakage. I can do better with co-washing, don’t get me wrong, but I’m paying more attention with co-washing during the week.
STEP 1 | PRE-POO
Being consists is still a struggle, when it comes to moisturizing my hair during the week. That’s why I started my routine with a pre-poo treatment, using Garnier Whole Blends (Loving Blends) Repairing Conditioner. I’m starting to like this conditioner -for pre-poo only-. I pre-pooed for 30 minutes, without heat. As a result my hair was moist and tangled free.

Since my relaxer I noticed more hair falling out than normal – shedding & breakage – . Yeah shedding is normal, but this last week it was too much for my liking and the breakage was crazy. I know I need to step up with the protein treatment.
Before washing my hair I started with an oil treatment. I made a mix of Coconut oil with 1 tps. Olive oil. The oil was applied all over my hair and scalp. I love using an oil for my pre-poos. I did this treatment more than 2 hours.

After protective styling my hair for four weeks, it was time for a prober wash routine. On Friday I took down my braids. I always make sure that my scalp can breathe, for I start the wash routine.
It was time to clarify my hair. But for this step I used to shampoos, Mizani PuripHying Shampoo (Clarifing) and ORS HAIRepair Invigorating Shampoo (Moisturizing). This was my first time using the HaiRepair shampoo.
