Co-wash routine for ‘relaxed’hair

It’s the end of the month again – time files bye –. I try to do a search and destroy method at the end of each month. So it was that time again, and my hair was crying – split ends -. I know I should cut my hair and get rid of the bone straight relaxed ends. I have been transitioning from bone straight hair to texlaxed hair. While I was doing the search and destroy method I decided to dust my ends – cutting off the bone straight texture -.

My friend was celebrating her birthday, so we went to a spa centre. I didn’t know if washing my hair was a good I day, so I decided to co-wash my hair. Why co-wash? I needed to make sure my hair was extra moist for the spa centre.

[1] For co-washing I used Herbal Essences Hello Hydration – this conditioner is the business –. In section of 4 I washed my hair and mainly concentrating on my ends. Because I was in the shower I went on with deep condition my hair. For the deep condition I used Aunt Jackie’s In Control Conditioner. In sections of 2 I applied the conditioner to my hair. After my shower I rinsed out the product.

[2] After the wash I let my hair air dry. When my hair was 70% dry, I spritz my hair with a water mix (water x Rose water) and then applied Cantu Shea butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream.
To keep my healthy I co-washed my hair with a moisturized based product and then used a protein based leave in for some strength.

Spa day ready!!!
