WASH ROUTINE FOR TEXLAXED HAIR
Wash day April 2!
Because of Easter I washed my hair on a Monday and gave myself some off time during the weekend. I’m still rocking my protective style and I love it. Leaving my hair alone and trying to retain my length.
STEP 1 | PRE-POO
After taking down my cornrow I applied Garnier Loving Blends Honey Gold all over my hair. This time I added an extra step. After applying I sealed my hair with Coconut Oil. It’s been a while that I used Coconut oil, and to be honest I missed this oil.
Coconut Oil is great to prevent hair loss, softness and bring back the shine!
STEP 2 | SHAMPOO
Sooooo .. I thought to give this shampoo another try. Yes I’m talking about Aunt Jackie’s Oh So Clean Moisturizing & Softening Shampoo. When I was shampooing my hair, it started good, but yeaah … I can say this shampoo is not for me. The formula is not working on my hair type.
STEP 3 | CONDITION
To give my hair the boost that it needs, I followed up with ORS Replenishing Conditioner. In sections of two I applied the product to my hair and sealed with Coconut Oil. I sat under the hooded dryer for 30 minutes.
This conditioner will never leave my side!
STEP 4 | LEAVE-IN
ORS Monoi Oil line is definitely holding me down. I have been using ORS Monoi Oil Leave-In Conditioning Crème and I’m loving it! In sections I applied the product to my hair and sealed with ORS Monoi Oil Fusion.
I will continue with protective styling so let’s get braided up!
Let the thick & healthy journey continue!
