With this wash I had my eyes set on a hair mask treatment. You know when your hair needs that extra push. My hair was in need for some Pure Honey moisture.
Let’s start with the routine!
wash day which conditioner to useIn the morning I was all gassed up for my wash routine. I started my day with going to the gym and do some groceries. When I came home, I start thinking of which products to use and there is where I got stuck. Because of my last week wash routine I wanted to make sure that I only used products that have moisturizing elements.
I enjoyed using ApHogee Deep Moisture Shampoo last week, so why not using it again. This time I didn’t part my hair in sections. While I was shampooing my hair I made sure to really focus on getting my scalp clean. My work-out in the morning had my scalp sweating. After two rounds of shampooing I rinsed my hair with lukewarm water. Before I get ready for the next step I cover my hair with a t-shirt and t-shirt dry my hair for 20 minutes.
Normally I know which conditioner I want to use, but this time I was lost. You know that my focus is on moisturizing my hair. So with that in mind I had to use Creme of Nature Pure Honey Moisturizing Dry Defense conditioner. To give the conditioner an extra boost, I added some oils (Castor oil, Jojoba oil and Peppermint oil). In sections of four I applied the conditioner to my hair, concentrating on my new growth, nape and edges.
Without heat I let the conditioner sit for 30 minutes.
Let’s continue with using moisturizing elements. After t-shirt drying for 30 minutes I applied Creme of Nature Pure Honey Knot Away Leave-in Detangler. Although I don’t need help with detangling my hair, I like this product because of the thickness. Concentrating on my ends I applied the leave-in to my hair and sealed with Jojoba oil.
I didn’t have any plans, so I just combed out my hair and let it air dry.
My wash routine started a little bit off, but baybey at the end my hair felt sooo good. I really believe that adding the oils to the conditioner really gave my hair some extra TLC. During air-drying I ran my fingers through my hair and let me tell you. My hair felt so soft and thick!
Which moisturizing conditioner did you use lately?
Wash day | When ApHogee is here to rescue you!Last Saturday’s wash routine was all about protein. With last week wash routine I noticed that my hair was limp and the breakage was real. While I was coming my hair I saw short strands falling on the ground. This was a sign that my hair needed a protein treatment. This is the reason why for this wash I focused on doing a protein treatment. Are you ready to have a wash day with ApHogee?
