Wash day | May 14!
For the last two weeks I have been wearing my wig as a protective style. I’m trying to leave my hair alone and protect it from the weather. So far I’m holding on. Before I started with the protective style I did a protein treatment, two weeks ago, to strengthen my hair. wash outine for relaxed hair Wash routine for ‘relaxed‘ hair [1] My hair was dry as #@$!. So I started off with a pre-poo treatment by using Olive Oil. In sections of three I applied the oil to my hair and scalp. I did the pre-poo treatment for like an hour without heat.

Relaxer | January 10!
With every stretch I tell myself that I won’t go further than 18 weeks post, but here I’m again at 24 weeks post relaxer. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with stretching for a long period of time – I have been doing that for the longest – but I wanted to try something different and see how my hair will react. With every stretch my focus has been with retaining my length. At times I’m still dealing the extreme breakage and split ends.
