Relaxer | January 10!
With every stretch I tell myself that I won’t go further than 18 weeks post, but here I’m again at 24 weeks post relaxer. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with stretching for a long period of time – I have been doing that for the longest – but I wanted to try something different and see how my hair will react. With every stretch my focus has been with retaining my length. At times I’m still dealing the extreme breakage and split ends. Like sometimes I will talk to my hair and ask “Can I get a break?” and living in the Netherlands doesn’t help either –…

Wash day | November 14!
The cold weather is messing up my hair, like really. I told myself to do more protective styles, but I’m lacking. My hair felt really rough so I needed a good moisture treatment Step 1 | Pre Poo treatment It’s been a while that I did a pre poo treatment. A pre poo treatment always helps me to get back shine. I applied my Pre Poo oil mix (Jamaican Black Castor oil x Olive oil x 5 drops of Rosemary oil) to each section. I really concentrated on my ends, because it really needed the extra love. I let the oil sit for an hour without heat.

Wash Day | November 8!
Lately my schedule for my wash routine has been messed up. I didn’t want to wash my hair, but I HAD to. My hair was screaming for a wash. I had a b-day dinner to attend to, so there wasn’t enough time for a “take it easy wash routine”. So I did a quick wash. Wash In four sections I shampooed my hair with Mizani Puriphying Shampoo. I can’t remember the last time I clarified my hair, but I needed to remove all the product from the last past weeks. I washed my hair twice and wrapped my hair with a cotton t-shirt. I’m still working on minimalizing the…

Wash day | 23rd November ‘14
It was all about heat this washing routine. I’m planning to use heat (a hooded dryer or a steamer) regularly because of the cold weather. My hair had a good week. Almost every morning I moisturized with ORS HAIRepair Intense Moisture Crème. Why in the morning. Well I was lazy to moisturize my hair in the evening. Step 1 I started with a pre-poo oil treatment. I made a new oil mixture and I’m loving it – post about the mix coming soon – . In four sections I applied the oil. I really focused on my ends. I still suffering from split ends, it’s driving me CRAZY!! For some…

Wash day 9 November ’13
Ugh i’m still slacking with my weekly hair routine. I think it’s time for a protective style, my dear friend the u-part wig lool. Step 1 –> I started with a pre-poo. For this pre-poo I used an oil mix (castor + olive oil). I will write a post about this mix. I pre-pooed for 30 minutes with heat. After the pre-poo my hair was so shiny.. my dead ends where a live again *happyface* Step 2 –> For my wash I used Creme of Nature Argan Oil Moisture & Shine Shampoo. I almost forgot about this shampoo. It’s is nice shampoo and it’s sulfate free.
