Wash day 17 November ’13

2013.11.17 wash dayStep [1]
Before putting any product on my hair, I start with detangling my hair in four sections. After detangling my hair I began with a pre-poo aka hot oil treatment. I applied my oil mix (castor + olive oil) all over my hair and scalp. After that I cover my hair with a plastic bag and sit under the dryer for 30 minutes. After the treatment my hair is so shiny. I did notice a difference with my last pre-poo. This time my hair was a bit stiff.  I need to keep an eye on that.

Step [2]
For my wash I used ApHogee Deep Moisture Shampoo. When washing my hair with this shampoo I always ask myself ‘is it really moisturizing?’. But when I’m done, I’m happy because its gives my hair a boost, its alive again lool.

Step [3]
I deep conditioned my hair with Creme of Nature Professional Moisture Extreme Conditioner with my oil mix (castor, coconut, grape seed, macadamia, peppermint and rosemary oil). This time I didn’t use any heat (lazy to get up). I can’t recall how long I DC my hair, but it was definitely over an hour and a half. My hair was so shiny & moist.

Step [4]
In my last step I didn’t do much. I was loving my hair, it was soft, moist & shiny. I applied a bit of Cantu Shea Butter Leave in Conditioning Repair Cream on damp hair. After that I detangled my hair and put my hair in a low bun. It was late and I was tired so I decided to air-dry my hair.

2013.11.17 IIThe next morning my hair was still really moisturized and of course still damped (the inner part of my hair). But I was amazed by the fact that it was so moisturized, it wasn’t necessary to moisturize and seal my hair with a cream. I styled my hair in a low bun and I was ready for work.
