Wash day | March 28!
Last week I did a search and destroy method. I really took my time because of the split ends. On the positive note my hair was doing well during the week. I moisturized when it was needed and my hair was protected during night time – sleeping with a scarf – . As the week went by I started to get lazy, but overall I’m happy because my hair was soft and moisturized.
At the moment I’m 7 weeks post relaxer
Pre poo treatment
For the pre poo I used Jamaican Black Castor Oil on my scalp and hair. I wanted to do the Hairlista Caster oil challenge, but laziness got in the way. Now I’m doing my own little challenge by using only Castor oil for the treatment. For almost 2 hours I let the oil sit.
Washing treatment
I washed my hair in 3 sections with Kera Care Hydrating Detangling Shampoo. This is the 3rd time using the product and I love it. During and after the wash my hair is soft and I can easily detangle my hair. After the wash I did an Apple Cider Rinse – ugh the smell is harsh – After the rinse I used water to make sure that there was no residue of the rinse.

Deep condition treatment
It’s all about the moisture, so I used Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisturizing Conditioner in its natural state – no oils – For the treatment I used the Huetiful Hair Steamer so that my hair will get the extra boost that it needs.

Leave in treatment
First I made sure that there was no excess water by wrapping my hair with a cotton t-shirt. I sprayed Elasta QP Shine and Olive Oil & Mango Butter Leave-In H2 Conditioner all over my hair and then applied Cantu Shea Butter leave in Conditioning Repair Cream. For sealing I used Macadamia Natural Healing Oil Treatment. I detangled my hair with a fake Denman brush and pinned up in 2 section. To dry my hair I used a hooded dryer.
