Wash day | 11th October ‘14

Saturday!!!  It was time to wash my hair. During the week I have moisturized only twice and have been protective styling by braiding my hair. Last week during my wash routine I did the search and destroy method. I really need to concentrate on my ends, because the split ends are driving me crazy.

Step 1
I decided to clarify my hair. I need to do better with clarifying. For the wash part I used Tresemme Deep cleansing shampoo and Organix hydrating macadamia oil shampoo. This is my first time using two shampoos in one wash. The reason for using 2 products is because a clarifying shampoo strips down my hair –  and yes the Tresemme shampoo really cleaned my hair and scalp – So I decided for the second wash I will use Organix shampoo to bring back the moisture.

Step 2
After the wash I could feel  that my hair was stiff, so I definitely had to deep condition with a good moisturising product. I t-shirt dried my hair at first and then in sections I applied Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisturizing Conditioner. I think I deep condition for  1,5 hour – yeah something like that -. When I was ready to rinse out the conditioner I was like yyuuhhh. The slip on my hair was crazy. My hair felt so good *happyface*

Step 3
For my leave-in I used CHI Keratin mist and Garnier Fructis Nutri Repair. I like this combination because of the protein en moisture ingredients. For sealing my hair I used Creme of Nature Argan Oil Treatment. As always I decided to air dry my hair, but this time I braided my hair. Hopefully I can do a nice braid out style.
