Monthly routine; time to detox my hair with clay!
My hair was screaming for a wash. I have been moisturizing my hair every night, so you can imagine all the build I have. Also it has been a while that I detox my hair. I was in a debate with myself what to use, a scalp scrub or clay mask. I choose to use a clay mask, because I’m able to detox and also clarify my hair with it.
“Time to clarify”
Step 1 | Clay mask
I mixed the Bentonite power with Apple cider vinegar, Aloe Vera juice and my oil blend. When I achieved a nice consistency I applied the clay to my hair in four sections. I left the clay on my hair for 20 minutes and then rinsed it out. This time I didn’t follow up with a shampoo, because I wanted to see if there was from the first time me using the clay.
My hair felt good. It was soft and I could easily ran my finger to my hair. Although my hair was feeling soft, it was screaming for moisture.
Step 2 | Deep condition
For deep conditioning I used KeraCare Humecto Crème Conditioner to give my hair the TLC that it needs. I didn’t add any oils to conditioner. To give my deep condition treatment a boost I sat under a hooded dryer for 30 minutes and let my hair rest for 15 minutes.
“My hair felt like butter”
Step 3 | Leave-in
I didn’t had much energy to continue with my hair, plus it was time to make dinner. So to keep it simple I sprayed my hair with Scurl No Drip Activator Moisturizer and sealed with my oil blend and air-dried my hair.
My scalp & hair is ready for the new month! A health scalp promotes healthy hair. My scalp care has elevated and I’m really seeing the positive results in my hair.
Thick & healthy journey continues!
